New Pest Alert from DPI
A Jamacian citrus weevil was found in the Bahamas now closer than ever to the mainland of Florida. This 
weevil is a general feeder on plants in Jamaica including peanuts, coco plum, tropical almond, mango, papaya, cassava, breadfruit, as well as citrus. Although not a pest here in Florida, DPI has alerted us to the nearness of the pest. Here is the link to the DPI pest alert.
